Seminar on a theme «Financial literacy»
The career center together with the company «Business Invest Finance» on February, 17th 2011. have arranged a seminar on a theme «Financial literacy» for students of the 3d course of a speciality "Finance”. The seminar was conducted by: Bolysbekov Bauyrzhan Umirbekovich – the deputy director, the chairman of credit committee of Almaty Branch company on retail business of joint-stock company «АТФ Bank» (Unicredit Group), the independent Board director of joint-stock company «Vostok Kapital», the Adviser of the chairman of joint-stock company "Отан", the director of the business service center «Business Invest Finance». At the seminar such themes were discussed: «Bank products», «Monetary operations», etc.

Meeting of Director EF University Preparation Jonas Jacobson with students
The meeting of Director EF University Preparation Jonas Jacobson with students of a speciality "Management" of English department has taken place on February, 16th 2011 at 11:00 within the framework of cooperation of the Career center with company Education First .The purpose of this meeting was to inform students about possibilities of foreign undergraduate education. Preuniversity programs EF are developed for preparation of students to the higher and after getting diploma education. Within the limits of a meeting students could learn in details about the programs, allowing to get education abroad.

On November, 29th, 2010 at University of International business has taken place opening of the club «Success and You», organizers which are the UIB Career center and the Company «Success Motivation».
The Mission of the «SaY» club is a personal development of the student. The club purpose is to help young men to discover the potential by means of life necessary skills. The training on a theme: «Skills of life» has held within the limits of this action in which students UIB of 1-3 courses took active part.

The Career center of University congratulates teachers, students and subordinates of university with successful finishing the second stage of Institutional Accreditation.
Within the framework of the State Accreditation having by university the commission of experts had the meeting on October, 14th, 2010 with UIB graduates and subordinates. The participants of this meeting have shared the opinion on level of experts preparation , advantages of training in UIB, perspectives of cooperation of business and education within the limits of Association of graduates " Алтын отау".

The administration of University of the international business expresses sincere gratitude to the companies-partners and graduates for objectively expressed opinion to management of our University.
The UIB Center career has been cooperating for four years with joint-stock company "СК" Eurasia »within the limits of competition «From idea to an realization one step ». In this connection the given company holds presentations for our students, and students in turn actively take part in competition and take prize-winning places. And this year also, on October, 19th, 2010 the Career Center together with the department «Finance and Credit »have organized a meeting of the 2d course students of economic specialities with the expert of Department PR and advertizing of insurance company" Eurasia "- Iminov Shakir Habibullaevichem. Within the framework of presentation was given the full information about VI th International scientific-practical annual competition for the best work on insurance subject« FROM IDEA TO the REALIZATION - ONE STEP », arranged by Association of high schools of Kazakhstan, Association of financiers of Kazakhstan and the State Fund of development of the Almaty youth policy in common with insurance company" Eurasia". The purpose of this program is development and realization of a social youth policy and the program of development of the insurance markets of the CIS countries. The program is carried out among students, young scientists and experts in the field of insurance. At present the Career Center is informing about this action and gathering students’ works on insurance subjects.

On October, 1st, 2010 the Career Center together with company "КарТел" ,the trade mark «Beeline» within the limits of the program «Third generation» have held presentation for students of the 3-4 courses. The purpose of the given action was attraction of the students planning to have practice in the largest company of the country. The representatives of the"Beeline" company were: Umorbekov Magauja - the Director of Almaty branch company, Koroleva Margarita - the Senior expert on marketing activity in branches, Shageev Shamil - the leading expert on roaming management, Nefedova Tatyana - the leading HR expert, Grents Irina - the expert on choosing personnel and its adaptation.

Студенты, проявившие интерес к программе «Третье поколение», будут внесены в базу данных и примут участие в конкурсе по прохождению стажировки в компании «Beeline».
On September, 30th, 2010 within the framework of discipline "Рынок ценных бумаг" was held a lecture - seminar for students of the 3d course of specialtyvb "Finance» of Russian and English departments. The lecture was conducted by representatives of the company «Daxx group» with support and the organization of the UIB career сenter. The lecture purpose was:
- Informing on stock market and basic tools of trade;
- Decision-making in exchange trade on the basis of the technical and fundamental analysis;
- Acquaintance with real schedules of the largest companies (such as BP, Apple, Exxon Mobile) and also comments, analytics and forecasts;
- Refutation of myths about exchange trade and investments on purpose to save students from financial losses in this sector which can happen at the present time.
