The Faculty of “Economics and Accounting”

Within the limits of educational process students study general educational and general professional disciplines on a specialty, on senior courses special disciplines are studied and a number of elective classes are offered. The considerable place is given to students' independent work. In the training process interactive methods and training forms are used: business games, cases, on-site classes, familiarization excursions, etc.; spacious methodological library offices, computer class rooms equipped according to last word of technology with legal databases and Internet system are to services of students and teachers.

To develop scientific and creative students' potential, the student's scientific organization and Council of Student's Self-management work actively at the faculty. And on which base intercity student's scientific conferences are regularly conducted that allows many students already in student's years to have scientific publications.

At the faculty training is conducted according to credit technology. The introduction purpose of training credit system is integration of national education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan into world educational system, creation of conditions for the diploma convertibility answering to the international standards, their demands on a labour market.
Students of the faculty of «Economics and Accounting» have access to the richest funds of the university Fundamental library with modern computer software; have wide possibilities of playing sports and healthy leisure.

The quality factor of preparation of economists and managers at the faculty of "Economics and Accounting" is a constantly growing demand for them both from state bodies, scientific and higher educational institutions of the country, and from banks, financial companies, international organizations and firms.

Training forms: full-time, evening, correspondence and distance.

Languages of training: Russian, Kazakh, English.

Length of training:

4 years (full-time and evening forms on the basis of secondary education)
3 years (correspondence, full-time forms on the basis of specialized secondary education)
2 years(full-time and correspondence forms on the basis of higher education)

Preparation of experts is conducted in close cooperation with higher educational institutions of the CIS countries and far abroad.

Students graduating from UIB are given the diploma of the higher economic education of the state standard (State license of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan series АА №0000143 of 05.02.02).
