General information
University of International Business
was the first to implement Distance format of teaching.
UIB is one of a few Institutions that works on distance learning development in the frame of scientific and pedagogical experiment of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Distance learning regional centers were opened in the cities of Astana, Aktobe, Kostanay, Shymkent and Ust – Kamenogorsk.
Our students are offered three distance learning technologies: case study, net study and TV –technology that all together form rigorous educational system, composed from the content (study material) and on-line classes with teachers from Almaty.
Distance learning at University of International Business is an opportunity to:
- get state standard diploma on - the – job (main activity) – training without attendance full time sessions in Almaty,
- work with study material at the convenient for students time ( in tutor class, office, at home, in the evening or at weekends).
- get access to different sources of information both via distance learning portal www.dl.uib.kz. and via Internet.
The effective interaction between a teacher and a learner is reached due to interactive means of education and the process of education turns out to be cognitive and creative.
