The contest "Successful Start" is open for graduates of schools, colleges, high schools, vocational schools, etc. of the current year and former graduates.

The main requirement for the contest - to get as many points for participation as possible in all activities within the contest.

The contest consists of 3 stages, each stage is assessed in points:

1st stage – application form.
Application forms of the entrants are submitted to the Department, where they are registered. For the application form participant receives 5 points. The points are recorded in the summary table.

2nd stage - essay.
Registered applicant submits to the Department an essay "How do I see my future profession", volume of no more than 5 pages of handwritten text. Contest participant receives from 7 to 10 points for the essay depending on its content. Participants’ essays evaluated by the committee members.

3rd stage - entry testing.
To enter the contest participant's application form is accepted within the deadline set by the university.

The university provides for full-time students a discount of 15% for the 1st course in the following specialties, according to the conditions of the contest "Successful Start":

Discount must, subsequently, confirmed by good progress and participation in social and public life of the university. In case of non-compliance within these terms the discount may be withdrawn by the results of mid-term test, as well as in case of university internal rules violation.

The procedure of discount giving
Discount on education is given according to the results of the contest "Successful Start" and successful completion of all stages.
According to the submission of the committee, an order is issued for holders of registered UIB educational discounts.
