OUR MISSION

Transfer knowledge and innovations to students in the form of educational services, scientific research, information technologies and preparation of programmers-analysts of the international class possessing developed system thinking.

Information Systems Department is the specialized class rooms of personal computers equipped with the advanced multimedia equipment and the software on the basis of Intel processors, the laboratory of information technologies equipped by last word of technology. All computers in educational class rooms are united in a local network with an access to global network Internet.

The main disciplines in the preparation of specialists in information systems are: economics, information marketing, information management, new technologies in economic information systems (EIS), algorithmization and programming technology, theory of information systems, information networks, expert and intelligent systems, EIS design, protection information, EIS reliability, bases and data banks in the economy, computer and software of EIS, data analysis in the EIS, etc.

The activities of specialist information systems focused on operations research in the field of economy and information technologies, adaptation to new changing conditions on the level of all organizational units: state, joint stock, private; extends to the scientific and production associations, scientific, engineering and design organizations, public controls with a view of rational functioning of the economy, production and social sphere.

Specialists in information systems combine knowledge of computers, information technology and economy. Professional activities aimed at ensuring the functioning of all organizational units, equipped with the standard electronic office, the design work on the development, implementation and operation of information systems at all stages of their life cycle.

Specialty 5В070400 «Computer engineering and software»

Academic degree - Bachelor of engineering and technology.

This specialty focuses on the training of engineers to develop and use mathematical, informational, technical, ergonomic, organizational and legal support: computers, complexes, systems and networks, computer systems, information processing and management, computer-aided design, software of computer equipment, computer systems of Information Processing and Management (programs, program complexes and systems).

Bachelor of Engineering and Technology, in specialty of CEandS is a multifunctional expert in the field of computer systems and information technology in all spheres of human activity.

During training, students study such subjects as the basis of the theory of management, algorithmic programming languages, the basics of microelectronics, the theoretical foundations of computer systems, the basics of operations research, system software, software for information processing systems, databases and knowledge, computer organization, computer simulation, computer networks, designing of information systems, interfaces of interaction in computer systems, new information technologies, etc.

Objects of professional work of the bachelor of engineering and technologies in specialty of CEandS are information systems and networks, their mathematical, information and the software, ways and methods of designing, debugging, manufacture and operation of technical and software of information systems in economy.

Thanks to ability to think systematically and analytically bachelors in specialty of CEandS often occupy supervising posts in state and private enterprises, in banks and other financial structures, in research-and-production associations, in the design and engineering organizations, in state bodies.

Specialty 5В060200 «Informatics»

The academic degree - Bachelor of natural sciences.

This specialty focuses on the training of professionals in the field of advanced mathematical methods, methods of applied mathematics, computer science to solve the problems of science, education, technology, economics and management.

Bachelor of Computer Science must know the prospects and development trends of information technology, modern computer technology, communications and connections, regulations, methods and tools for technical documentation, basic economics, organization of manufacture and research, bases of labor legislation, ergonomics.

Bachelor of Computer Science must have skills to work with hardware-software complexes, software.

Bachelor of Computer Science must be competent in all matters related to modern information technologies: the use of computer systems, programming languages, software for various tasks.

Future Bachelor of Computer Science receives fundamental training in mathematical analysis, Theoretical Computer Science and Computer Engineering, Algorithmic languages and programming, he studies the methods of system analysis, simulation and optimization of economic and production processes based on mathematical statistics and experimental design, operations research, decision theory and adaptive control ; acquire professional skills to work on personal computers with modern operating systems, application packages, databases and interactive shells, simulation and decision-making in the administrative and economic management of enterprises and institutions; possession of methods of teaching science.

The specialty focuses on economic, legal and technical aspects of standardization and certification. Students receive theoretical and practical training in the following areas: methods and tools for standardization and certification, metrology, computer science, microelectronics, measuring equipment, modern programming languages, computer technology, economics, law, marketing, management.

Graduates of this specialty are people involved in the assessment of quality and safety of production. To be the arbiter between the manufacturer and consumer goods are basic requirements for working in the certification. Their duty is the truth.

Graduates’ place of work: the establishments of domestic and foreign trade, tax inspection; sanitary-and-epidemiologic services; customs, laboratories and institutions of State Standard of the RK, independent private analytical laboratories issuing certificates of products; services of evaluation and quality control in the administration, metrology and certification services of quality control of enterprises.
